Introducing: New Yammer Pricing Plans — Direct From SharePoint Conference #SPC12

We’re happy to announce multiple changes to Yammer’s pricing structure that will bring more value at an even more affordable rate for your business. Our recent acquisition by Microsoft means that we’re capable of some great new things, and this is only the beginning.

We are consolidating Yammer paid services into a single offering, Yammer Enterprise Network, and reducing the price of the offering from $15 to just $3 per user per month. This will be available as of today to new Yammer customers. Yammer Basic will, of course, continue to be offered for free.

In addition, starting March 1, 2013, customers with a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement can purchase Yammer Enterprise via Microsoft volume licensing.

Lastly, we will be shipping Yammer with SharePoint Online as well as with Office 365. This means customers get the best cloud productivity service and the best of enterprise social service in one.

Here’s the pricing info, in a nutshell:

Yammer Basic standalone: $0
Yammer Enterprise standalone $3 per user per month
SharePoint Online (Plan 1) + Yammer Enterprise $4 per user per month
SharePoint Online (Plan 2) + Yammer Enterprise $8 per user per month
Office 365 E Plans 1-4 + Yammer Enterprise $8 – $24 per user per month

Details about the new pricing can be found on our pricing page.

For existing customers, we’ll have more information by 3/1 on how you can take advantages of these new changes. And of course, you can always reach out to your Yammer Account Executive for more information.

Thank you to our entire customer community for supporting us and being customers!

  1. This is wonderful news! It will certainly make your service a heck of a lot easier for small clients like us to afford. You’ve removed the barrier for us to adopt the Enterprise solution. Thank you!

As a result of the acquisition we’ve been given access to a wide array of resources and capabilities to leverage. We are currently working with Microsoft’s SkyDrive team to power the real-time content syncing and multi-party collaboration and are targeting to release these capabilities this spring.

I’ve been trying to verify on the Microsoft site that Yammer will be available on Office 365 starting March 1st and have been unable to find it anywhere on their site. Can you let me know where on the Microsoft site I can verify that Yammer will be available on Office 365 on March 1st? Thank you very much.

  6. Mark says:

    Hi,

We are a UK based MS Gold partner selling Office 365…

It would be great to use our own Yammer account to demo for new customers..

Is it possible today for us to get a Partner Office 365 Yammer account up and running?

    Thanks,

    Mark.
