Introducing Yammer’s Summer Release. Work Just Got Better.

Here at Yammer, we’re committed to rapid product innovation and take pride in delivering the best-in-class social networking experience. The Summer Release is our most significant release to date and aims to improve your Yammer experience while making it easier to discover relevant people, content and conversations.

We’ve completely updated Yammer’s look, improved the navigation and added new features like Inbox and Online Now.

Homepage
An easier way to find important company activity and resources. The new homepage is tailored so you can discover and connect with the most relevant people, content, and conversations.

Navigation
Bring company branding to your Yammer network with the updated navigation. The new layout makes it easier for you to access people, groups, files and apps.

Inbox
A single place for you to stay on top of conversations that matter most. Inbox automatically aggregates and tracks @mentions, group announcements, conversations, and private messages you’re a part of.

Online Now
A new and even quicker way to send private messages. Online Now lets you see who’s available and instantly start a conversation with one or more coworkers.

More Features
We’ve also added other features in this release like the Files Directory, new user badges, ticker hovercards, enhanced Single Sign-On, and more.

Apps
Connect all your enterprise apps with a single social layer that makes it easy to collaborate and get work done. In this release, we’re teaming up with Bevalley, FuzeBox, Get Satisfaction, HootSuite, IFTTT, Kanjoya, Mindflash, Mindjet, and Zapier.

*Don’t see the new Homepage or Inbox yet? Some of these features are being released as a phased rollout, so it may take a few weeks to appear.

    Hello,
What about the roll-out of the new file sharing solution (oneDrum) that was also planned for this summer? Is this still going to launch?
    Thanks,
